To the Lewis Family - we just heard about Stanley's passing and are very sorry. It was always fun talking with him and listening to his stories. Stanley was a gentle and kind man. You were blessed to have him in your life - he was so proud of his family and loved his grandbabies. We pray that GOD gives you comfort during these sad days AND please let us know if there is anything we can do for you.

To Stan's Family:

We are so sorry to hear that Stan passed away but so happy to know that he is with the Lord. I met Stan when I worked at the Department of Education and he was a real pleasure to know. Reverend Whitesides did a great job on Stan's eulogy and the words were so true. He spread "sunshine" and love wherever he went. Stan was so proud of his family and spoke of you often and he absolutely adored his grandbabies and loved to show everyone their pictures.

Stan, we'll miss you.

To the Lewis family,

I've known Stan for the last 30 years. I worked with him at USC and then later at the Budget & Control Board, also recently retired we still worked together on different occasions. Stan was a very knowlegable person about his job and seemed to be a dedicated family man. He was always praising his children and more recently his grandchildren. Stan was good at making everyone laugh. He will be missed. Take condolence knowing he is in a better place now and smiling down upon his family. To the family, may God and good friends be wherever you go, because I'm sure that's where Stan is now. God bless you all

Stan will certainly be missed!!!!! I got to know Stan when I married Anna and we stayed at Holly Circle in Tall Pines. Stan was a funny, kind, gentle, and wise man, he always knew what to say when things weren't going our way. I really appreciated Stan because we both loved the Tigers and we both worked for the State. We could fuss about both and by the time we finished talking we would just laugh about it all. Stan took care of Anna and Kasey (Golden Retriever and her 14 puppies)during Hurricane Hugo. A great friendship was built during that time. A friendship that would last a lifetime!! Stan was the only one that could call Anna hardheaded and not have to deal with the consequences. He would always smile and tell me "I can say that to her because I don't have to live with her" Anna and I will always cherish the friendship we had with Stan. I think every time we see the full moon we will howl at it like Stan would, and every time we see Clemson on TV, we will think of Stan in the upper deck giving the people around him grief. Stan we love you and look forward to seeing you again!!! Anna & Aaron
