Dear Mary and Family,

Roy and I were heartbroken to hear of Charles' passing.
He was a great neighbor for many years and also we enjoyed seeing him in BC Moores and then as the store moved and evolved we would see him. Always smiling and always friendly.

Our deepest sympathy to you and your family. He will be missed.

Our love and prayers in the coming days and months.

Roy and Kathleen Roberts

To the Family ,
I would like to express how sorry to hear of your loss. I recently lost my father. The pain of losing a loved one is a pain that seemingly never goes away. However, the pain can lessen when we think of what God has promised to do for us.
What comfort does he provide us? First of all, at 1 Cor 15:26 it says: "The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death." So God views death as an enemy and will eventually remove death.
Secondly, Jesus gave us hope when at John 11:25 he said: "I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live:" So there is a chance to see our loved ones again under better conditions.
This comfort from the Bible has helped me in dealing with the loss of my father and I hope it will help your family to some degree with your loss.

May Jehovah God sustain you at this time of such great loss. Psalm 34:18,19 "Jehovah is close to the brokenhearted; He saves those who are crushed in spirit,"

I know your hearts are broken, and I’m so sorry. I’m grateful to have gotten to know him recently, even if for only a few short weeks. It makes me smile when I think about him telling me he had a doctor’s appointment in Hawaii right before I went....a sweet sense of humor. I’m glad he was able to be at home like he wanted, and I hope you all can find peace and comfort. He was a great man.

I am sorry to hear of your loss. May you find comfort in the resurrection promise at John 5:28,29 that reads; "Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming when all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out." The Bible gives us hope that one day our dead loved ones will be brought back to life.

On behalf of our family, please accept our deepest sympathy on the passing of Mr. Charles. He was a kind and gentle man. His persona was why he succeeded in retail and life. In addition to his kindness, he served our country with distinction during a difficult time in our nation's history. For that we are extremely appreciative. May a life well lived and the knowledge that he is at Peace in Heaven offer you some comfort in this most difficult time in your lives. Lee, Carol, Joseph and Amelia
