Robert Charles “Bob” Biddle, 92, of Newberry, died Thursday, May 23, 2019 at his residence.

Born on February 19, 1927 in Cheviot, Ohio, he was the son of the late Charles Everett and Amanda Jentz Biddle. He was a United States Air Force Veteran. He was known for being a hard working man. When he was younger, he enjoyed racing Midget Cars.

He is survived by his wife of 71 years, Betty Ann Nichols Biddle;sons, Lonnie Biddle of Florida and Phil Biddle of Newberry; a daughter, Marty Biddle of Florida; 7 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by a son Ronnie Biddle.

He will be interned in the M.J. “Dolly” Cooper Veterans Cemetery at a later date.

Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association, 190 Knox Abbott Drive, Cayce, SC 29033

Phil and Family --- I met your dad while working for a bank in the late 1990's in downtown Newberry. We had many conversations and I won him over when I told him that I fished with my father when I was young. Afterwards he would seek me out to help him with his transactions. So sorry for your loss.
