Tommy Scott Sadler, 64, of Prosperity, died Monday, October 14, 2019.

Born on January 14, 1955 in Nashville, TN, the son of the late Major General Thomas Sadler and Mary Kenner Sadler. He was a graduate of UNLV, was a member of Calvary Church of Charlotte, NC and the owner of Smoke Anywhere for Pennys.

Mr. Sadler is survived by his wife, Penny Lester Sadler and a step-son, Chase Edwin Puryear.

Funeral services will be held at 4:00 pm Friday, October 25, 2019 at the McSwain-Evans Funeral Home by the Rev. Dr. David Torrey. Visitation will be from 2:00 – 3:30 pm at the funeral home.

I knew Tommy in high school as our fathers were both USAF pilots. He was a friend then and obviously a good man. God bless you and your family.

Penny, I was so very sorry to hear of Tommy's passing, he was a gentle an caring soul who more times than not had a smile on his face, a joke to tell and was a friend with a listening ear when needed. I will miss his friendship very much.
