Patty and Tim (and the rest of the Ruff family),I send condolences tp you and your families, while recalling fondly how much I liked and admired your Dad. One memory of him sticks in my mind, which I hope will bring you a chuckle. That memory is how your Dad claimed he could talk warts off of people. I am pretty sure that I believed he could actually do that! Love to you all, Curt

Sarah and family. So sorry to learn of Roberts passing. I know it is pleasing to know he has entered his eternal life with God. There may have been a better person than Robert but that is hard to conceive. Robert touched so many lives and mine was one of them. Thank you God for sharing this great man with us. God be with each of you.

Hey, Patty, Tim & Sarah ... What an amazing life we have to honor & celebrate on Thursday. For years & years I spent many a night over on Castle Road. Just about every weekend I was there or Tim was with me! I respected Mr. Ruff just as much as I respected my own dad! He and my dad were a lot alike in many ways! He was quiet, just like my dad! And when he expected something from you he didn’t have to repeat himself! I can remember most of all his amazing talent to whistle. It was beautiful ... Just like a bird! I can sit back right now and here him following songs on the radio or just whistling a tune as he drove us to practice or to a game or to wherever ... He was “old school” in many ways & firm! But but he had a gentleness about him that people gravitated to because he was so genuine & sincere. I am a better person to have known Mr. Ruff and I thank God for all those amazing memories that I have because he was part of my life! ... God picked a flower on Monday ... And it’s name was Mr. Ruff! May God continue to bless each of you richly until you meet your dad once again at the throne of Grace.

Pam and I express our deepest sympathy to Sara and all Ruff & Stackley kids over Bud's homegoing. He was a giant of a man in so many ways, and will surely be missed. May our Lord comfort each of you at this time.
