Donna Mack Summer, 67, of Newberry, died Tuesday, January 26, 2021, at Newberry County Memorial Hospital.
Born on August 18, 1953, in Greenville, she was a daughter of the late Richard and Louise Byers Mack. She was retired from the Mid Carolina Country Club and was a member of St. Philip's Lutheran Church.
Mrs. Summer is survived by her husband, Charlie B. Summer, Jr.; sons, Charlie B. “Trey” Summer III (Lori Mills) and Jamie Mack Summer of Newberry; a sister, Alethea Gunter of Greenville and a granddaughter, Emmie Elise Summer. She was predeceased by a brother, Jimmy Mack.
Graveside services will be held at 3:00 pm Friday, January 29, 2021, at St. Philip's Lutheran Church by the Rev. Jeff O'Dell.
Active pallbearers will be Philip Sligh, Scott Roton, Justin Tedder, Steve Dominick, Thomas Cash and Tommy Sease.
Due to COVID 19 everyone is reminded of social distancing requirements and masks are strongly encouraged.
