William W. Wallace, Jr., 80, of Newberry, died March 24, 2021 at his residence.
Born February 2, 1941 in Chester, he was a son of the late William Wallace and Marie Edith Gregory Wallace. He was a graduate of the University of South Carolina, a retired Banker, and retired as a Master Sergeant with the South Carolina National Guard. He was a member of the Pomaria Ruritan Club and a former Scout Master. Bo was an avid hunter and fisherman. He loved spending time on the river canoeing with his son and helping him with his farm endeavors.
He is survived by his wife, Dr. Sally Wallace; a son, William W Wallace, III of Asheville, NC; a step-daughter, Resa C. Davis and her husband Mike of Irmo; a brother, Bobby Wallace of Hartsville; a sister-in-law, Martha Ann McCleave Wallace; his mother-in-law, Carrie Lee McSwain Pritchard of Chapin; a granddaughter, Willow Canyon Wallace of Asheville, NC; one niece; two nephews; and a number of great nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by one daughter, Camlin Faris Wallace.
A graveside service with Military Honors will be conducted at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, March 31, 2021 in Rosemont Cemetery by Rev. Randall Derrick. The family will receive friends following the service. Memorials may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis,TN 38105.
Honorary pall bearers include Carold Wicker, Charles Williford, Dale Williford, Rick Roberts, and members of the Pomaria Ruritan Club.
Those in attendance are asked to wear masks and follow Covid-19 guidelines.

My Family is saddened at the loss of Bo. He was truly a great man and a joy to be around. I appreciate how good he was to me growing up and more especially how caring he was to my parents in their waning years. He earned our deepest respect and we all loved him dearly.
