Aleita Bradley Suber, 73, of West Columbia, died on Sunday, April 19, 2026 at MUSC in Charleston.

Born on June 13, 1952 in Columbia, she was a daughter of the late John Henry and Martha Jane McCartha Bradley. Aleita was a retired administrative assistant at Brookland-Cayce #1 Elementary School and was a member of Holland Avenue Baptist Church. Aleita was an avid reader. She also loved going on trips to the beach and fishing on Lake Murray with her husband.

She is survived by her husband, Ronald D. Suber; a son, Ronnie Suber of Piedmont; a daughter, Erin Suber of West Columbia; sisters, Gladys Scott of Chapin and Karen Wooley of West Columbia; a brother, Steve Bradley of Chapin; and her twin grandsons, Jackson Suber and Greyson Suber.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM, Saturday, April 25, 2026 at the McSwain-Evans Funeral Home Chapel in Newberry by the Rev. Charles Wilson. Burial will follow in Peak Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday from 5:00 until 7:00 PM at the McSwain-Evans Funeral Home.

Active pall bearers will be Ron Suber, Ronnie Suber, Steve Bradley, Wayne Bradley, Josh Wooley, and Terry Bailey.

Honorary pall bearers will be Jackson Suber and Greyson Suber.
