Ana Palacios-Rivera

Ana M.A. Palacios-Rivera, 63, of Newberry, died Thursday, December 20, 2012, at Palmetto Health Baptist.

Born on October 27, 1949, in Puebla, Mexico, she was a daughter of the late Miguel Palacios and Manuela Rivera. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints – Newberry Ward.

She is survived by her husband, Alejandro Acosta; a son, Edgar A. Acosta; daughters, Nelida Carolina Acosta and Ana Aurora Acosta; sisters, Teresa Palacios-Rivera, Maria Augusta deJesus Palacios and Altagracia Palacios-Rivera; brothers, Moises Palacios-Rivera and Prospero Palacios and five grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, December 22, 2012, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints – Newberry Ward by Bishop Roy Roberts. Visitation will be Friday from 5:00 – 8:00 pm at McSwain-Evans Funeral Home.
