Andy Longshore

Andrew “Andy” Carol Longshore, 55, of Silverstreet, died Friday, September 11, 2009 at his residence.

Born on December 27, 1953 in Newberry, he was a son of Andrew Wilson Longshore and the late Betty Floyd Longshore. He was employed with Tidewater Equipment for 31 years, was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church and was a Mason.

Surviving in addition to his father of Silverstreet is his wife, Cathy Howell Longshore; a son, Tommy (Jill) Longshore of Pomaria; a daughter, Shana Staten of Martinsville, IN; step-sons, Jason (Dolly) Aull of Prosperity, Christopher (Bobby) Aull of TX and Brandon (Mickey) Aull of UT; sisters, Elaine L. (Tim) Bouknight of Newberry, Brenda L. (Jim) Rainey of VA and Tina Marie (Brandt) Smith of Newberry; a brother, Wilmer Mike Longshore of Silverstreet; a granddaughter, Taylor Longshore and six step-grandchildren.

Memorial services will be held at 4:00 p.m. Sunday, September 13, 2009 at McSwain-Evans Funeral Chapel by the Rev. Hugh Bickley. Visitation will follow the service. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, c/o Helen Beebe, 181 Tailers Trail, Leesville, SC 29070.
