Angela Wofford

Angela Chanel Wofford, 36, of Newberry, died Friday, July 22, 2022, at her residence.

Born on July 26, 1985, in Newberry, she was the daughter of the late Donnie and Marsha Cook Wofford. Angela had worked for the Newberry Disabilities and Special Needs as a group home parent and formerly with Komatsu and Caterpillar.

She is survived by her son, Patrick Collins; a daughter, Kaylen Wofford; brothers, Adam Wofford and William Wofford, a step-brother, Brian Bishop, a step-sister, Amanda Eaves, and her companion, Daniel Coleman and his son, Devon.

Funeral services will be held at 4:00 pm Monday, July 25, 2022, at the McSwain-Evans Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Jason Schafer. Burial will follow in Rosemont Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 2:30 – 3:30 pm at the McSwain-Evans Funeral Home. The family will be at 1335 Ebenezer Road, Newberry for those wishing to visit.

Active pallbearers will be Brian Bishop, Tazman Holley-Bouknight, Joe Voest, Alberto Fuentes, Jacob Shealy, Ethan Bright and Caleb Racine.
