Aron W. Martin

Aron Wilbur Martin, 75, of Prosperity, died Wednesday, June 11, 2014, at his residence.

Born on July 29, 1938, in Peoria, IL, he was the son of the late Wilbur Martin and Dorothy Streeper Martin Burroughs. He was an Army veteran and was retired from Catepillar.

Mr. Martin is survived by a son, Kevin L. (Dena) Martin of Leesville; daughters, Kelly M. Martin of Prosperity and Tracy (Greg) Baur of Marathon, FL; a sister, Martha Brown of Lincoln, IL; grandchildren, Stephanie L. Martin, Kevin Andrew Martin, Aron Kyle Martin and Christopher Jacob Martin and great-grandchildren, Alexis Lynn Downes, Raylynn Higgenbothum, Bailey Iris Martin and Zoe Grace Martin.

The family will have a gathering of family and friends on Saturday, June 14, 2014, from 4:00 – 5:00 pm at McSwain-Evans Funeral Home.
