Bill Eugene Brooks, Sr., 60, of Silverstreet, died Saturday, September 8, 2012, at Lexington Medical Center.
Born on June 11, 1952, in Dallas, NC, he was a son of the late Ralph and Fannie Black Brooks. He was a farmer.
Mr. Brooks is survived by his wife, Joyce Johnson Brooks; a son, Bill Eugene Brooks, Jr. of Silverstreet; a daughter, Melissa Kay Gallina of Greenwood; sisters, Mary Stines and Fannie Mae Neal both of Dallas, NC; brothers, Bob Brooks of Iron Station, NC, Ralph Brooks of Lincolnton, NC, Carl Brooks of Simpsonville and Clyde Brooks of Middlesburg, WV; grandchildren, Serria Wallace, Brianna Brooks and Austin Brooks.
Mr. Brooks will be cremated and no formal funeral service is planned.
