Bobbie Jean Hannah Graham, 87, of Newberry, and formerly of Huntington, WV, widow of Bernard L. Graham, went to be with the Lord on Monday, October 19, 2020 while a resident at J.F. Hawkins Nursing Home. She was born on September 26, 1933 in Logan, WV, the middle child of five of the late Arnold Vandan and Elizabeth Hannah. Bobbie moved to Huntington, WV with her family from Logan, WV during her high school years and attended Barboursville High School. She met the love of her life, Bernard Lee Graham and married on April 26, 1950 and enjoyed 65 years of marriage together before he passed away on December 22, 2015.

Bobbie was the Cafeteria Manager at Hite Saunders Elementary School in Huntington, WV from where she retired. From a young age, one of her favorite passions was playing the piano and organ. She regularly played for church, weddings and entertained family and friends when they visited her home. Bobbie loved to cook and bake from scratch. Nothing made her happier than cooking for her family and friends, always ensuring that their favorite dish was on the table. Bernard and Bobbie loved entertaining family over the holidays where good food and cherished memories were made. After their retirement, they relocated to Gastonia, NC and spent their winters in Frostproof, FL with many dear friends they knew from WV. After moving to NC, they became members of the Walnut Grove Baptist Church of Dallas, NC.

Mrs. Graham is survived by sons (and spouses), Donald L. Graham (Lorie) and John Richard Graham (Lee Terrell); a brother, Arnold V. Hannah II; a sister, Judith F. Smith; grandchildren, Mary Beth Graham, Todd Graham, Ryan Graham, Chad Graham, Maggie Graham Hudson, Kyle Graham and four great-grandchildren: Jeffrey Thomas (J.T.) Graham, Della Rose, James Gabriel (Jude) and Archer David Graham. She was predeceased by a son, James V. Graham and sisters, Mella E. Graham and Virginia L. Weaver.

Mrs. Bobbie Jean Hannah Graham will be interred in the Walnut Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Dallas, NC. Condolences, messages and remembrances may be shared with her family through the McSwain-Evans Funeral Home website.
