Bobby Ann Shealy Williams, 81, of Newberry, widow of Bennie Lewis Williams, died May 30, 2018 at Palmetto Health Richland Hospital.

Born on December 15, 1936, she was a daughter of the late Thomas Benson “Pad” and Ruth Epting Shealy. She and her husband Bennie made their home in the Bush River Community of Newberry . She was employed by and retired from AT&T where she was a telephone operator and later an administrative assistant. She enjoyed cooking and loved to share with others. She was a member of St. James Lutheran Church, the Telephone Pioneers of America and the Bush River Activity Association.

Mrs. Williams is survived by her children, Danny Lewis Williams (Beverly ) of Newberry; Annette Bledsoe of Newberry, and Chrissie Campitella (Mark) of Chapin; her grandchildren, Morgan Allen (Shaughn) of Charleston, Benjamin Bledsoe (Holly Lee) of Newberry, and Cory Campitella of Charleston; a great-granddaughter, Paislee Bledsoe of Newberry; her sister, Kathryn Murrell of West Columbia; nieces, nephews, and special friends. She was predeceased by a granddaughter, Lane Williams and by a son-in-law, Glenn Bledsoe.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 am Saturday, June 2, 2018 at St. James Lutheran Church by the Rev. Rodney Gunter. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at the McSwain-Evans Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to St. James Lutheran Church, 228 Jalapa Road, Newberry, SC 29108.

Active pall bearers will be Barry Shealy, Brian Long, Dixon Brooks, C.J. Bishop, Dean Mack, and Lynn Shealy.

Honorary pall bearers will be  members of the St. James Adult Sunday School Class and the Miriam Circle.
