Bobby E. Fulmer, 62, of Lexington, South Carolina went to be with the Lord on Friday, August 14, 2026.

Bobby was born in Prosperity, SC on October 19, 1963, to Frances Fulmer and the late Marvin Fulmer. He attended Mid Carolina High School and retired from the Newberry County Highway Department (SCDOT) after 30 years. Bobby was a man who loved the outdoors and looked forward to deer hunting season each year. He loved watching wrestling and his westerns. Bobby loved his family dearly and was known for his generosity, sense of humor, and dependability. He would do anything to help those he loved.

Bobby is survived by his mother, Frances Fulmer of Little Mountain; fiancée, Gloria Nottingham of Lexington; daughter, Jamie (John) Whiteaker of Rock Hill; stepdaughter, Jeannette Traxler of Lexington; grandchildren, Levi Whiteaker, Ezra Whiteaker, Emily Jones, Natalee Jones, Hayleigh Jones, and William Thornburg Jr; sister, Cindy (Ron) Hall of Little Mountain; brother, Joel (Tina) of Little Mountain; and many special nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his wife of 20 years, Sherry Fulmer.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, August 21, 2026, at Bethel Baptist Church in Prosperity. Please wear blue. The family will receive friends following the service.
