Brenda Hendricks Trammell, widow of Frank Trammell, passed at her residence on Sunday, May 17, 2020. She was born in Greenville County on June 13, 1946 to the late Evelyn Nations Hendricks and Columbus Folger (Bill) Hendricks. She is survived by her daughter Beranda A. Trammell of Newberry; a son Bradley F. Trammell of Atlanta, GA; granddaughters Ebony Ellis, Alexus Ellis, and great-granddaughter Nevaeh Ellis all of Newberry; a sister Willena (Bob) Townsend and a brother Jerry (Elaine) Hendricks of Central, SC; sisters-in-laws Lucille (Gary) Foster of Easley, SC, Maebell Hendricks and Barbara (Duffy) Elrod of Pickens, SC; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

She was predeceased in death by her loving husband of 51 years, Thomas Franklin Trammell, Jr. a brother Eugene (Gene) Hendricks, granddaughter Amber Ellis, and beloved feline companion Beanie Bear Trammell.

The family would like to thank the staff of Family Healthcare of Newberry, Lexington Oncology, Lexington Medical Center, MSA Home Health & Hospice and Drs. Barbie Koon Johnson and Steven Madden.

Ms. Trammell was a devout Christian and a faithful member of Faith Assembly of God. She enjoyed crafting especially making personalized greeting cards for friends and family. She was an avid fan and performer of southern gospel music. Ms. Trammell attended D.W. Daniel High School and was always a Lions fan throughout her lifetime. She was also a Clemson fan. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and supporting local and national charitable organizations. Ms. Trammell was a beloved mama, grandma, great grandma, sister, and cherished friend to many.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Faith Assembly of God, 798 Fair Street, Newberry, SC 29108 or a charity of one's choice.

The family will be at the residence of Beranda A. Trammell.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at 2:00 pm Sunday, June 14, 2020 at Faith Assembly of God.
