Brenda White

Brenda Kay White, 74, of Newberry, widow of J.C. White, died Sunday, August 9, 2020 at Newberry County Memorial Hospital.

Born on August 14, 1947 in Whitmire, she was a daughter of the late Ora T. and Emma Bennett Boulware. She was retired from Clinton Mills and was a member of the Prosperity Church of God.

Mrs. White is survived by sons, James C. (Erin) White III, Michael Shannon (Bobbi) White and Joshua Derrick (Ashley) White all of Newberry; a daughter, Christy (Terry) Sease of Newberry; twelve grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by five sisters and five brothers.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am Wednesday, August 12, 2020 at Prosperity Church of God by the Rev. James Chaffins. The family will receive friends from 10:00 – 11:00 am Wednesday at the church. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made toward the funeral expenses at McSwain-Evans Funeral Home. Due to COVID 19 those attending the service are reminded to follow all social distancing requirements and masks are strongly encouraged for the inside service.
