Bryan Tate

John Bryan Tate, 53, of Newberry, died Friday, December 30, 2016, at his residence.

Born on July 7, 1963, in Columbia, he was a son of the late Jack Bryan and Rosemary Dowd Tate. He was a meat cutter with Hawkins Deer Processing.

He is survived by his brothers, Jeff E. Tate of Newberry and David (Sheri) Tate of Pomaria; his fiancée, Tina Leitzsey; a nephew, Adam Tate; a niece, Alexis Tate; three children and nine grandchildren. He was predeceased by his grandparents, Elbert “Po”Dowd and Nell Singley Browne.

Family and friends are invited to drop-in for a Celebration of Life Service between the hours of 2:00 - 5:00 pm Saturday, January 7, 2017 at the Pomaria Community Center.   In lieu of flowers memorials may be made toward his funeral expenses at McSwain-Evans Funeral Home, 1724 Main Street, Newberry, SC 29108.
