Calvin Mitchell

Clarence Calvin Mitchell, 72, of Newberry died September 9, 2010 at Newberry County Memorial Hospital.

Born on July 4, 1938, in Newberry, he was a son of the late James G. and Sara Baker Mitchell. He was an Army Veteran and a member of Freedom Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Shirley Dillashaw Mitchell; a step-son, Marty Frick of Little Mountain; a sister, Doris E. Roberts of Newberry; Ronnie Allen Mitchell of McCormick who was like a son to him. He was predeceased by a brother, Steve Mitchell.

Service for Mr. Mitchell will be private.
