Carol Berry Marrs, 77, of Newberry, passed away on Friday, January 16, 2026, at her home.

Born on February 8, 1949, in Trenton, Missouri, she was a daughter of the late David and Doris Berry. She had worked as a nurse and attended Cross Point Church.

She was a faithful woman whose life reflected her deep love for God and for others. She passed peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of kindness, prayer and quiet strength.

Though she will be deeply missed, we find comfort in knowing she is now in the presence of her Lord and Savior.

Carol is survived by her daughter, Rhonda (Billy) Ackerman of Prosperity; grandchildren, Savannah Renwick, Ashley Ackerman and Brandon Hanna and a great-granddaughter, Brynlee Hanna.

She was predeceased by a son, David Willingham and a sister, Barabra Riggs.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm Tuesday, January 20, 2026, at Cross Point Church by the Rev. Jeff O’Dell.
