Frances Caroline Miller Fulmer, 90, of Newberry, widow of James Carroll Fulmer, died Tuesday, July 1, 2025, at White Oak Manor.
Born on March 21, 1935, in Blair, she was a daughter of the late Lovick Pierce Miller II and Frances Ethel Berley. As the wife of a serviceman she lived at numerous places over the years which included California and Georgia. During those years she was always involved in the banking industry and upon returning to Newberry retired from BB&T in 1995.
She was an active member of Summer Memorial Lutheran Church where she was member of the WELCA.
Caroline loved children and always cherished the many cards and pictures she received over the years of the many children that crossed her path.
She is survived by her life partner, Vernon Hawkins; nephews, Pete (Carla) Miller, Berley Lee (Lavada) Miller, Harold (Debbie) Alewine; niece, Deborah Edwards; extended family, Tracy (Mickey) Fulmer and Scottie (Angela) Hawkins.
She was predeceased by a sister, Ann Alewine and brothers, Berley Lee Miller, Sr. And L.P. Miller III.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, July 5, 2025, at Summer Memorial Lutheran Church by the Rev. Rebecca Wicker. Burial will follow in Newberry Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends in the church fellowship hall on Saturday, July 5, 2025 from 1:00 pm until the hour of service.
