Catherline T. Amick

Catherline Turner Amick, 73, of Newberry, died Saturday, April 19, 2014, at Hospice House of Greenwood.

Born on October 18, 1940, in Newberry, she was a daughter of the late Robert Turner and Essie T. Suit. Mrs. Amick was a member of St. Luke's Lutheran Church.

She was the loving wife of David Amick and the mother to daughters, Nancy A. Pitts, husband, Tony and Kay Beggs; grandchildren, Bryan Waters, wife, Erin, Zachary Pitts, Brett Waters, wife, Aly, Joshua Pitts and Catherine Beggs. Brother, Robert Turner, wife, Jimmie Nell; sisters, Nancy T. Shealy and Mary Beck, husband, Donnie. She was predeceased in addition to her parents by a sister, Julia Turner.

Private memorial services will be held Wednesday, April 23, 2014, at McSwain-Evans Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Jason Schafer. Memorials may be made to St. Luke's Lutheran Church, 4056 St. Luke's Church Road, Prosperity, SC 29127 or to Hospice House of Greenwood, 408 West Alexander Avenue, Greenwood, SC 29646.
