Cecil J. Collier

Cecil Jay Collier, 78, of Newberry, died Sunday, January 11, 2015, at Palmetto Health Richland.

Born on June 10, 1936, in Topton, NC, he was a son of the late Oliver J. and Ruth Pace Collier. He was retired from the U.S. Air Force. He was of the Baptist faith, a former Mason and former member of the Moose Lodge.

Mr. Collier is survived by his wife, Marilyn Scheldrup Collier; sons, Robert J. Collier and Michael Lee Collier; sisters, Marie Nobles, Barbara Stribble, Billie Sue Kennedy, Linda Mack and Sandra Collier; brothers, Tony Collier and Carley Collier and three grandchildren.

No formal service will be held.
