William "Bubba" Amick

Charles William “Bubba” Amick, 42, of Chapin, died Wednesday, November 26, 2014, at his residence.

Born on March 10, 1972, he was a son of John McKinnon and Glenda Lucas Amick. He worked for Walker-White, Inc. and was a member of Pine Bluff Baptist Church of Columbia.

He is survived by his parents, John and Glenda Amick of Pomaria; sons, William Travis Amick of Chapin and Logan Lee Amick of Idaho; a daughter, Stephanie Nicole Amick of Chapin; a sister, Pam (Jimmy) Wilson of Pomaria; brothers, John M. Amick of Pomaria and Michael Roland (Lisa) Amick of Winnsboro; five nieces and five nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, November 29, 2014, at Pine Bluff Baptist Church by the Rev. David Covington. Visitation will be Friday from 6:00 – 8:00 pm at McSwain-Evans Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the charity of one's choice.
