Charles Waldrup, Jr.

Charles Waldrup, Jr., 75, of Newberry, died Sunday, September 15, 2013, at his residence.

Born on June 4, 1938, in White Pine, TN, he was a son of the late Archie and Frances Parker Waldrup. He was a retired truck driver and a member of Calvary Pentecostal Church.

Mr. Waldrup is survived by his wife, Reva Gibson Waldrup; a son, Charles Edward Waldrup of Asheville, NC; daughters, Dianne Harmon and Wanda Morris both of Prosperity and Tammy Teague of Glen Rose, TX; a sister, Verlin Sherman of East Flat Rock, NC; a brother, Selden Waldrup of Edneyville, NC; ten grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.

Memorial services will be held at 3:00 pm Thursday, September 19, 2013, at Calvary Pentecostal Church by the Rev. Charlie Clinton. Memorials may be made to McSwain-Evans Funeral Home, 1724 Main Street, Newberry, SC 29108, to be applied toward the funeral expenses.
