Clifford White

Clifford Lee White, 79, of Newberry, died February 1, 2023 at White Oak Manor.

Born on June 21, 1943 in Newberry , he was a son of the late William Clifford and Kathryn Davenport White. Mr. White worked as a farrier for many years. He served in the United States Army Special Forces during the Vietnam War.

He was predeceased by his brother, Timothy White.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Monday, February 6, 2023 at the McSwain-Evans Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Jeff O'Dell. Burial with military honors will follow in Rosemont Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758516, Topeka, Kansas, 66675-8516.

Active pallbearers will be Phillip Mays, Thadd Mays, David Senn, Phil Tresfgar, Eric Davenport and Alan Davenport.
