Corrie Brown

Corrie Bodie Brown, 85, of Newberry, widow of Frank Brown died Tuesday, April 9, 2019 at White Oak Manor.

Born in Newberry, she was a daughter of the late Milton Leroy and Ora Lee Smith Bodie. She was a member of College Street Baptist Church. She was a member of the church choir and especially enjoyed singing in the Christmas cantatas. She enjoyed traveling and spending time with her friends.

She is survived by a step-son, Jimmy Brown; and by nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by 2 sisters and a brother.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00PM Friday, April 12, 2019 at the McSwain-Evans Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Chad Ashby. Burial will follow in Newberry Memorial Gardens.
