Coty Pittman

Coty Dwayne Pittman, 28, of Silverstreet, died Sunday, December 27, 2015.

Born on June 26, 1987, in Marion, he was a son of Ivan Dwayne Pittman and Ruby Stroud Dorroh. He was a graduate of Mid-Carolina High School and was employed with Caterpillar. Coty loved the Carolina Gamecocks, the Carolina Panthers and enjoyed fishing and boats.

He is survived by his father, Ivan (Angie) Pittman; his mother, Ruby (Henry) Dorroh; brother, Scotty (Nicole) Hooks; step-brothers, Evan Dwayne Pittman, Brad Dorroh and Travis Dorroh; step-sisters, Jessica Faith Hardee and Lauren Shea Pittman; nephew, Jayden Hooks and niece, Ashtyn Hooks; an uncle, Bud Stroud. He was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Robert and Judy Stroud.

A celebration of his life will be held at McSwain-Evans Funeral Home from 6:00 – 8:00 pm on Wednesday. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, PO 1741, Greenwood, SC 29648.
