Cynthia Minick Bedenbaugh, 78, of Prosperity, died July 16, 2026 at her residence.

Born on July 18, 1947 in Newberry, she was a daughter of the late Billy and Jeanette Connelly Minick. Cindy retired from Thornwell as a dietary manager and she and her husband owned and operated the Stable Steakhouse in Prosperity for a number of years. She was a member of St. Luke's Lutheran Church. Cindy loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She had a love for animals, especially her dachshunds.

She is survived by her husband, Dean Bedenbaugh; a son, Alan (Dawn) McCollum of Easley; daughters, Daree (Will) Dominick of Prosperity and Brandi Bedenbaugh of Prosperity; a sister, Kay (Rick) Bedenbaugh of Newberry; grandchildren, Tyler (Amber) Kesler, Taylor (Blake) Patterson, Hunter (Erin) McCollum, Taylyn Rosenberg, Colton Rosenberg, and Brooklyn Sherer; and great-grandchildren, Ansley Patterson, Millie McCollum, Logan Patterson, Addi Kesler, and J.W. Kesler.

Memorial services will be conducted at 3:00 pm, Sunday, July 19, 2026 at St. Luke's Lutheran Church by the Rev. Arden Hallman. The family will receive friends following the service. Memorials may be made to the Newberry Animal Shelter, 240 Public Works Drive, Newberry SC 29108 or to St. Luke's Lutheran Church, 4056 St. Luke's Church Road, Prosperity, SC 29127.

Honorary pall bearers will be her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
