Daisy Blohme Beckham Zeiders, 89, of Pomaria, passed away on Tuesday, September 22, 2026.

She was born on August 27, 1937, to the late Francis Morgan Beckham, Jr. and Maude Elizabeth Guthrie Beckham. Daisy was very artistic and made many drawings and paintings that she would gift to members of her family over the years. She also had a knack for growing things, collecting antiques, crocheting and making her own decorations, sometimes even improving upon store-bought decorations. Two of Daisy’s achievements that she was very proud of were winning a Miss Swim competition as a teenager, and a piece of her art being displayed in the Governor’s Mansion. Daisy was incredibly devoted to her family and loved them all dearly. She loved to care for others and could be described as having a heart for strays, both animals and people. She frequently cooked for her family and enjoyed making enough to feed a crowd.

She is survived by her grandchildren, Daisy Amanda (Ryan) Chaplin of Clinton, Earle ‘Billy’ Zeiders III of Pomaria, Sarah (Casey) Goodman of Pomaria, Shannon Sutherland of Anderson, and Ladonna (Nick) Matsko of Crystal Hill, VA; daughter in law, Vivian L. Zeiders of Chester; brother, Dr. Louis Beckham of Swansea; 10 great grandchildren with 1 on the way; 2 great-great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her husband, Earle William Zeiders, Sr.; son, Earle William Zeiders, Jr.; daughter, Elizabeth Anne Zeiders; sisters, Maude Elizabeth Wofford and Texas Mabel ‘Smilie’ Mundell; and brothers, Francis Morgan Beckham III and Rt. Rev. William Arthur Guthrie Beckham.

Memorial services will be held at 1:00 pm Monday, October 12, 2026, at the McSwain-Evans Funeral Home Chapel. The family will be receiving friends the hour prior to the service.

The family would like to offer a special thanks to the staffs of Woodbridge of Clinton and Bernardo Hospice for their exceptional care of Daisy.
