Daniel Judson “Danny” Parker, 65, of Prosperity, died August 15, 2026 at his residence.

Born on November 6, 1960 in Columbia, he was the son of the late Herbert and Ruth Ballard Parker. Danny was a graduate of Carolina High School and Piedmont Technical College. He worked for Vulcan Materials and attended Freedom Baptist Church. He loved movies, his computer and drinking Mountain Dew. Danny also had a love for children.

He is survived by his nephew, Jonathan Koopman and his wife Brantlee; a great-nephew, Joiner Koopman; a step-son, Teddy Wayne Bonds, his wife Kimberly and their children, Elizabeth and Travis Bonds.

He was predeceased by his sister, Mitia Parker.

Memorial services will be conducted at 2:00 PM, Friday, August 21, 2026 at Freedom Baptist Church, by the Rev. Eddie Bledsoe. The family will receive friends following the service. Memorials may be made to Freedom Baptist Church, PO Box 1106, Newberry, SC 29108.
