David Willingham

David Chestly Willingham, 39, of Prosperity, died Wednesday, October 5, 2011, at Newberry County Memorial Hospital.

Born on July 8, 1972, in Spartanburg, he was a son of Carol Ann Riggs Marrs and James David Willingham. He was an employee of Newberry Feed and Farm. David was a hard working, honest man and was loved by all.

Mr. Willingham is survived by his mother of Prosperity; his wife, Toby Nelson Willingham; a daughter, Cristin Willingham of Rock Hill; a sister, Rhonda (Billy) Ackerman of Prosperity; an aunt, Barbara Riggs of Prosperity; three nephews and a niece and many friends. He was predeceased by a sister, Teressa Self.

A private family memorial service will be held later.
