Deborah Elaine Graham Dennis, 71, of Prosperity, South Carolina, died on Sunday, September 21, 2025 at Newberry Health.
Born in Newberry on July 21, 1954, Debbie was a daughter of the late George Roy and Janelle Livingston Graham. Debbie was a lifetime member of New Hope United Methodist Church and enjoyed conducting children’s church and assisting with crafts at Vacation Bible School as long as her health permitted. She retired from Ellett Brothers after over 40 years of service, having worked in sales and later in media and graphic design. She was creative, finding pleasure in ceramics, painting, crafting, and drawing. When her health declined, she enjoyed browsing the internet – especially Amazon and QVC. She loved her family immensely and fondly remembered special dates and birthdays, especially those of her niece, nephews, and their spouses and children.
Debbie is predeceased by her beloved daughter, Ashley Virginia Dennis Stockton. She is survived by her loving husband of over 52 years, Don Dennis; a sister, Angela (Bill) Davis of Pomaria; three brothers: Glenn (Cathy) Graham of Pomaria, David (Stephanie) Graham of Pomaria, and Doug Graham of Pomaria; brother-in-law, Von (Kathy) Dennis of Newberry; son-in-law, Chad Stockton; a niece, Allie (Christopher) Graddick; five nephews: John (Julie) Dennis, Gary (Samantha) Graham, Chad (Catherine) Davis, Mason Graham, and Matthew (Victoria) Graham; five great-nephews; five great-nieces; two aunts; and many cousins and friends. She is also predeceased by a sister-in-law, Lynn Black.
Graveside services will be held at 11AM on Wednesday, September 24 at New Hope United Methodist Church by Pastor Jesse Rogers. The family will receive friends following the service.
