Debra Bouknight

Debra Harris Bouknight, 64, of Newberry, widow of Kenneth Edward Bouknight, died July 19, 2019 at Prisma Health Baptist Hospital.

Born on October 29, 1954 in Laurens, she was a daughter of the late William David Harris, Sr. and Myrtle Caldwell Harris. Debra enjoyed gardening and spending time with her animals and especially her grandchildren.

She is survived by a son, William David Harris, III of Newberry; a daughter, Melissa Johnston of Newberry; grandchildren, William David Harris, IV, Kelsey Marie Harris, and Madison Emma Harris.

She was predeceased by a brother, William David Harris, Jr.

A memorial service will be conducted at 2:00 PM Thursday, July 25, 2019 at the McSwain-Evans Funeral Home Chapel. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105
