Cynthia Diane Hill Edgins, 68, of Little Mountain, passed away on Wednesday, September 16, 2026 at her home.

She was born on February 10, 1958 to the late Albert Franklin and Dorothy Elizabeth Hill.

Diane retired from Shakespeare/Valmont after 35 years of service. She was known by her family as a loving mother, Nana, and Gigi, who always looked forward to boat rides and her girls trips. She was also a people person who was devoted to her friends and never met a stranger. She thought of herself as her family's drill sergeant and kept them together and in line accordingly. Her family was her life and she treasured them deeply.

Diane is survived by her daughters, Michelle (Michael) Hook of Little Mountain, Cindy (Jody) Sutton of Little Mountain, and Amanda (Stacy) Edgins of Pomaria; son, Allen (Kasey) Hill of Little Mountain; grandchildren, Brittany (Casey) Proctor, Mason and Bailey Hook, Camron, Caden, and Clayton Lindler, Ann Marie, Mary Sue, Jojo, Tyler, Annissa and Kody Hill; great-grandchildren, Brelon, Riley, C.J., Viola, Autumn Marie, Waylon, and Maisie; sisters, Shelby (Larry) Hazel of Newberry, Karen (David) Gillion of Newberry, and Alice (Alvin) Breed of Panama City, Florida; numerous nieces and nephews, and her beloved dog Ernie.

In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her significant other, Calvin. L. Smoot, and sister, Joanne Hill.
