Diane Wicker

Diane Davenport Wicker, 61, of Newberry, died Thursday, April 6, 2017, at Continue Care at Palmetto Health Baptist.

Born on January 1, 1956, in Prosperity, she was a daughter of the late William Leo and Dolly Mae McGee Davenport. She was a member of Lewis Memorial United Methodist Church.

Mrs. Wicker is survived by her husband, Barry Alton Wicker; a son, Michael Shane (Monica) Wicker of Newberry; a daughter, Mary Diane (Alan) Miner of Newberry; a sister, Becky Stallings of Charlotte, NC; brothers, Chris Davenport of Silverstreet and Johnny Davenport of Charleston; grandchildren, Barry Shane Wicker, Mary Michell Miner and Allison Alaine Miner. She was predeceased by siblings, Judy Baker, Tommy Davenport and Donnie Davenport.

A memorial service will be conducted at 2:00 PM Saturday, April 22, 2017 at Lewis Memorial United Methodist Church by the Rev. Jimmy Counts.
