Cecil Donald Ringer, 93, of Newberry, widower of Beverly Arden Oxner Ringer, passed away on Thursday, April 9, 2026, at Springfield Place.

Born on October 9, 1932, in Newberry, he was a son of the late Cecil Dunn and Helen Lucile Eargle Ringer. Don retired as senior product engineer from Rockwell International/Cooper Tools. He was a member of Mt. Bethel Methodist Church.

He was a Navy veteran who served during the Korean War.

Don enjoyed woodworking and square dancing with his beloved wife, Beverly. He loved and cherished his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He is survived by sons, Mark Donald (Donna) Ringer of Chapin, Paul Stephen (Meri Ellen) Ringer and Christopher Kyle Ringer both of Newberry; five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren with one due in June.

He was predeceased by brothers, Otis Ringer and Claude Ringer.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Monday, April 13, 2026, at the McSwain-Evans Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. William Hightower. Burial will follow in Newberry Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends following the service at the graveside.
