Donald Ray Chapman

Donald Ray Chapman, 59, of Newberry, died Friday, October 7, 2022, at his residence.

Born on November 16, 1962, he was a son of the late Lindy Ray and Ethel Nobles Chapman. He owned and operated Chapman and Chapman Painting. Mr. Chapman served six years in the United States Navy. He loved fishing, playing cards and shooting pool.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Foster Chapman; a sister, Elizabeth Owensby; brothers, Clarence Kinard and Daniel Chapman and his fur babies, Max and Precious.

He will be cremated and no service is planned. In lieu of flowers, the family asks memorials in honor and remembrance be made towards his funeral expenses at McSwain-Evans Funeral Home, 1724 Main Street, Newberry, SC 29108 or online
