Doris A. Johnson

Doris Avery Johnson, 78, of Newberry, died Saturday, December 1, 2018 at her residence.

Born on October 12, 1940 in Spartanburg County, she was a daughter of the late Charles Estes and Vera Bouknight Avery. Mrs. Johnson had worked at Norris Industries and retired from Hardees. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her husband, Olin Johnson; sons, Ronald David (Beth) Johnson of Prosperity and Michael Anthony Johnson of Newberry; a brother, Charles Avery of Newberry; grandchildren, Michael Anthony Johnson, Jr. and Stephanie Danielle Johnson; great-grandchildren, Lillie Johnson, Isabella Johnson and Christian Johnson.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 am Tuesday, December 4, 2018 at Newberry Memorial Gardens by Father Mark Abdelnour.
