Doris Pugh Webb, 85, of Prosperity, widow of Bobby G. Webb, died Monday, March 23, 2026, at White Oak Manor.

Born in Prosperity on September 3, 1940, she was the daughter of the late J. Carroll and Verna Cannon Pugh. She was a graduate of the last class of Prosperity High School in 1958. She attended Columbia Commercial College in 1959. Doris then worked in finance and secretarial offices until 1975.

She loved bowling for many years and was secretary/treasurer for a 40 team league. She enjoyed crafts, quilting, visiting shut-ins and singing.

Doris was a baptized and lifelong member of Zion United Methodist Church where she served on many committees including the bereavement food committee, Age Level Ministries and the Golden Agers Homecoming Sunday. She was a member of the United Methodist Women, the Naomi Ruth Circle, and the Young at Heart Group.

She is survived by a step-son, Michael (Nancy) Webb and cousins.

She was predeceased by very special friends, Judy and Don Shealy.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Thursday, March 26, 2026, at Zion United Methodist Church by the Rev. Joseph James. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends following the service.
