Andrew Robert “Drew” Pugh, 25, of Prosperity, passed away on Thursday, February 26, 2026.

Born on June 5, 2000, in Lexington he was the son of Andrew Bachman and Pamela Thornhill Pugh. He was a graduate of Mid Carolina High School and worked Pugh Welding and Fabrication.

Drew is survived by his parents, Bachman and Pam Pugh of Prosperity; a sister, Miranda (Wayne) Kinard of Prosperity and maternal grandmother, Nancy Thornhill of Prosperity; nieces, Reagan Kinard and Callie Kinard.

Drew was predeceased by his paternal grandparents, Andrew and Vassie Pugh, maternal grandfather, Robert Thornhill and his uncles, Mark Thornhill and Chris Thornhill.

Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2:00 pm at the McSwain-Evans Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Brett Blackman. Burial will follow in Prosperity Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour before the service at the funeral home chapel.
