Born on February 2, 1930, in Newberry, she was a daughter of the late Maxcy W. and Amanda Stillwell Epting. Mrs. Workman had had various jobs in her life, but she enjoyed the most being a loving homemaker. She had a great love for cooking and being outside working with her flowers. She was fun loving and you had better watch out if she had a firecracker in her hand and Halloween was time that you had better be on the lookout for she would certainly find a way to give a scare. Mrs. Workman was the perfect, sweet Granny to her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and would help anyone in need.

She was a member of St. James Lutheran Church where she was a member of WELCA.
