Elaine Wise

Elaine Gresham Wise, 63, of Kinards, widow of Tony Wise, died Monday, December 10, 2018, at her residence.

Born on January 31, 1955 in Newberry County she was a daughter of the late Elbert H. and Olivia Davis Gresham. She was a member of the Newberry Church of God.

Mrs. Wise is survived by a son, Terry Crapps; a daughter, Natosha Barker (Shawn) Phillips; a sister, Barbara K. Goforth; grandchildren, Jordan, Nick and Dustin Phillips; great-grandchildren, Jocilynn Ruff Phillips and Aiden Phillips; nieces and nephew, Pacha Goforth, Krystal Durham and Elbert Goforth and great-nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 pm Thursday, December 13, 2018, at the Newberry Church of God by the Rev. Paul Rowe and Rev. Mark Wilkes. Burial will follow in Whitmire Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 6:00 – 7:30 pm at McSwain-Evans Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the funeral home or to MSA Hospice, 180 Commerce Drive, Newberry, SC 29108.
