Elizabeth Griffen

Mary Elizabeth “Betty” “Lib” Robbins Griffen, 70, of Newberry, died Sunday, August 8, 2010, at her residence.

Born on July 25, 1940, in Pomaria, she was a daughter of the late Hoyt and Laura Ramey Robbins. She was a member of Wightman United Methodist Church.

Surviving are her sons, John Bush of Little Mountain, Robert Griffen and Carleton Griffen both of Newberry; daughters, Carol Bush of Greenville, Lorelli Segura and Felice Emery both of Newberry; sisters, Ruth Kinard of Chapin and Anne Sherrill of Florida; thirteen grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.

Private family graveside services will be held at Rock Creek Baptist Church Cemetery in Blair, SC.
