Frankie Marie Long

Frankie Marie Long, 83, of Whitmire, died Sunday, November 7, 2010, at Springfield Place.

Born on June 6, 1925, in Black Water, VA, she was a daughter of the late Taylor and Florence Hurd Tankersley. She was the retired owner of Long’s Fabric Shop and a member of Follower’s of the Truth Church.

Mrs. Long is survived by her husband, Earl Franklin Long; a granddaughter, Donna Ross of Newberry and a great-grandson, Lee Ross of Columbia. She was predeceased by a daughter, Phyllis Long Owens.

Graveside services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 9, 2010, at Whitmire Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Follower's of the Truth Church.
