Fronnie Hendrix Banks, 79, of Pomaria, passed away on Wednesday, May 3, 2023, at White Oak Manor.

Born on February 13, 1944, in Newberry, she was a daughter of the late Blumer Clinton Hendrix and Bessie Proctor Hendrix Rinehart. She was a member of Epting United Methodist Church.

Mrs. Banks is survived by her husband, Marion B. Banks; sons, Kenneth M. (Danette) Banks of Pomaria and Kevin M. (Jennifer) Banks of Prosperity; a daughter, Patty Banks (Armando Carrillo) of Pomaria; grandchildren, Jayme Murillo, Alex Carrillo, Brennen Banks and Brayden Banks and a great-grandson, Ashton Murillo.  She was predeceased by a brother, Olin Hendrix.

Funeral services will be held at 2:30 pm Saturday, May 6, 2023, at the McSwain-Evans Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Jesse Rogers. Burial will follow in Newberry Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Saturday from 1:00 – 2:00 pm at the McSwain-Evans Funeral Home.

Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 140 Stoneridge Drive, Suite 210, Columbia, SC 29210.
