Gary Gardner

Charles Gary Gardner, 80, of Norton, VA, passed away on Wednesday, January 24, 2024, at White Oak Nursing Home in Newberry, SC.

Born on February 28, 1943, in Norton, VA, he was a son of the late Willie and Maggie Cassidy Gardner.  

He is survived by a sister, Brenda Hansel of Prosperity, SC; a brother, Fred (Patsy) Gardner of Mt. Carmel, TN; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Mr. Gardner was predeceased by sisters, Margalo Clayton, Betty Jo Gardner and Patsy Cain and brothers, Willie Cassidy, Harold Cassidy, Burlain Gardner and Delmer Ray Gardner.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, January 27, 2024 Hagy & Fawbush Funeral Home in Norton, VA with services being conducted by Pastor Darrell Bolling. Burial will follow in Laurel Grove Cemetery in Norton, VA. The family will receive friends from 1:00 - 2:00 pm Saturday at the Hagy & Fawbush Funeral Home.
