George Kitchens

George Willis Kitchens, 94, of Newberry, widower of Carolyn McLellan Kitchens, died Sunday, January 3, 2021, at White Oak Manor.

Born on January 5, 1926, in Soperton, GA, he was a son of the late William Thomas and Eva Sammons Kitchens. He was retired as a comptroller at House of Raeford Farms. He greatly enjoyed being involved in karaoke get-to-togethers.

Mr. Kitchens is survived sons, Gary Wayne (Teresa) Kitchens and David George (Kim) Kitchens; a daughter, Lynn (Ray) Brooks; a brother, Larry Leroy Kitchens; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

No funeral service is being planned.
