Gerry Wilson Johnson

Gerry Arenell Wilson Johnson, 82, of Silverstreet, widow of William L. Johnson, died Wednesday, May 18, 2022, at Prisma Health Richland.

Born on February 6, 1940, in Laurens County, she was a daughter of the late Grover Cleveland and Alpha Omega Cothran Wilson. She was retired from Whitten Center and was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church.

Mrs. Johnson is survived by a daughter, Carol (William D.) Johnson of Silverstreet; sisters, Dorothy Medlin of Clinton and Barbara Martin of Jacksonville, FL; grandchildren, Garrett Maxie Johnson, David Alexander Eubanks, William D. Johnson, Jr. and Shelby Marie Johnson and a great-granddaughter, Sadie Grace Eubanks.  Mrs. Johnson was predeceased by sons, Jeff Johnson and Joey Johnson, a daughter, Kim Eubanks and four sisters and seven brothers.

A memorial service will be held at 4:00 pm Monday, May 23, 2022, at Trinity United Methodist Church by the Rev. Jimmy Counts.
